In celebration of the launch of Mike’s Path in the fit52 app, we are so excited to feature Mike Fisher as this month’s guest in the Fit52 Life series.

As a retired NHL player, Mike has dedicated his life to the pursuit of fitness and a healthy, balanced life—core values he is proud to share with his wife, Carrie Underwood, and their two sons, Isaiah and Jacob.

Living with this mindset, he has found the right practices, supplements, and music to help support his fitness journey. Here is what Mike shared with us:

What’s your secret to starting the day off right?
Reading my bible helps me kick-start my mornings.

How do you honor your body and stay active?
I work out and try to eat right. I love being active in the outdoors as well!

Do you have a not-so-guilty pleasure?
Ice cream.

What fuels your soul?
Hunting, fishing, and being in God’s creation fuels my soul.

What motivates you to stay the path?
Carrie. My wife motivates me by how hard she works and her discipline in pursuing a healthy lifestyle.

Mike’s Wellness Picks:

Two bottles of BODYARMOR Lyte sports drink

BODYARMOR Lyte Berry Punch
I like drinking this during or after workouts. It tastes great and isn’t too sweet!

A smoothie with creatine monohydrate

Creatine Monohydrate
I’ve taken this for a long time. It helps me feel good and strong.

Vitamin D gel capsules

Vitamin D
I’ve always tested low in Vitamin D, so this is a supplement that I need to take regularly.
