One of my go to’s after a workout is a smoothie, especially now with the weather getting warmer! They are really refreshing and so easy to put together. There are so many combinations of ingredients you can experiment with, but I am excited to share my recent favorite with you. I’ve been making a lot of green smoothies lately, which is a great way to get in those veggies!
This one is a tropical kale banana green smoothie. I really hope you enjoy it!

Total Time: 5 mins
Serves: 1-2
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 large banana, frozen
- 1/2 cup pineapple, frozen
- 1 cup kale
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
For added protein: - 1-2 tablespoons of a nut butter of your choice
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
Directions
- Put all the ingredients into a blender (make sure the lid is secured tight!).
- Blend until smooth.
- Yup, it’s that easy. Enjoy!
